“AHHH Why do we even need whales? What do whales even do? They are just giant blobs of fat swimming around the ocean, taking up space that other fish could be swimming in. Whales just stumble along, eating up all the krill. Have you ever eaten krill? I haven’t. You wanna know why? Because all the whales are eating them up. You see that's all they do, they just swim and eat. Oh and sometimes they blow water out of their little blowholes. What’s even the purpose of that? They shoot it up in the air just for it to come right back down into the ocean. Good job with that one guys! And you know all those dumb whale facts? You wanna know why they are so dumb? It’s because whales are so boring, there's nothing interesting about them, there’s nothing to know. They, are, just, whales. What good are they? What have whales done for society? Not much, and nothing good. Oh you know that derogatory term, ‘fat as a whale’ yeah thanks for that one whales!. I mean yeah people have used their fat and stuff to like ‘keep warm’ but like, we are in the twenty-first century now, get a blanket! No one sleeps under whale fat anymore. And do people even eat whales? There is so much meat and we don’t even eat it, well maybe in some places, but that’s not my point. Whales are just stupid giant fish roaming the sea. They are supposed to be friendly right? SO WHY DO THEY KEEP KILLING ME!?”

  Musical Footsteps One day as he walked, a musical note began to play. With each step a new note, always complimenting the one before. There was no piano, just his stride, creating a beautiful melody for all to hear. He didn’t know why the music played, but he enjoyed it nonetheless.   The Girl in the Horse Painting “Oh man have you seen that one painting, the one with the horse, on that blue background.” “Yeah! Oh my gosh that painting is so good. I’m actually looking to get a print of it to hang in my house.” “That would look so good in your living room, or anywhere really.” “I know, it’s such a good painting it could go anywhere really and make the room better!” “Have you ever noticed the girl in the background? I never had until someone pointed it out to me and then I couldn’t stop looking at her.” “There is a girl in the background?” “I know right. I was shocked too, but yeah, there is. 4/24/22 Carried by the Breeze

  Carried by the Breeze She stood in the breeze, arms stretched out wide. “Take me away,” she said, and the wind complied with her request. It picked her up off the earth and carried her through the sky and clouds.  Although a wondrous view passed by below her, she just closed her eyes and floated with the wind. The sight could be replicated but this feeling would never be again. She did nothing but float, feeling the breeze run through her hair, trying to capture it in her hands. Hours went by and she enjoyed every moment, but the chill of the sky began to wear into her, she was ready to go down. The wind however had different plans, it was not ready to let her go. Her assumption of being a friend to the wind changed as she realized she was prisoner to it. Struggling against air, she tried to point herself downwards and break free.
