5/3/22 Nausea

Nausea

It’s coming. It’s all coming now. Everything must go, nothing can stay. We must clear the stomach.

The stomach begins to stir causing great discomfort. Signals are sent through the body and up the throat in preparation. The muscles begin to pulse, readying the path for the impending purge. The raging storm cannot be calmed, it is coming.

Deep inhales attempt to stop the stomach's contents from leaving the body, but they provide only a temporary relief. The feeling of calmness is just an illusion as the bubble once again forms in the throat.

Water is brought into the system, a second resort in attempts to calm the stomach down. Although helpful in other ways, the water simply enrages the stomach. It is trying to purge and does not want anything else, even water.

The time has come, all attempts of soothement have failed, it is time to release the storm. Acids and food rapidly travel upwards and escape the body. Muscles contract, squeezing every last drop from the stomach. It is finished, time to start anew
