 Forgotten Memories (Part 2)

Hours pass as he sits on the carpeted floor, simply looking around the blank empty room. Although his brain has no thought, his body continues to function and the feeling of hunger begins to set in. He does not know what is happening, only that he does not like the feeling in his stomach and wishes it would go away.

He does not know what to do exactly. He continues to sit, hoping the feeling will pass. The hunger remains and he realizes he must do something. He gets up once again and cautiously goes to the window. Avoiding looking upwards, he attempts to push through the glass, hoping to get to the area he can see outside. He tries to push harder but the glass does not move.

Backing away from the window he goes again to the door. He starts to push against it, hoping it will move. It moves, but only slightly, stopped by a force unknown to him. As he rattles the door, he hears the handle jingling. He stops to examine the doorknob closer. As he plays with it he discovers it turns. He grasps it tightly, turns it, and with a push the door opens.

He now finds himself in another empty room, this one larger than the last. Spotting another door he goes to it and opens it, as he now knows how to do. As the door opens, the man is hit by a breeze of cool air. Shivers run through him as he is hit with the shock of this new experience.

Slowly he walks outside, taking in the plethora of new information. He is filled with nerves, scared of the new environment. He decides to go back inside, not ready for this new experience. As he turns to the door, a memory flashes through his mind. He sees a teardrop landing on his hand as it hurriedly grabs the handle. The memory is gone in an instant.

The man grabs the handle, recreating the image that has just gone through his mind. He walks back into the house, another image flashes. He can hear sobbing, as he runs through the main room

Continuing to recreate the events, he runs through the room, back to the smaller room he found himself in. He falls to his knees and hits the ground, “NOOOOOOOOO” No further memories flash as he walks around the room.

He realizes something has happened to him. Determined to remember, he walks back outside, now with a goal to figure out what happened to him.
