 Personal You’s

What if you just started multiplying, very rapidly, and only stopped when there was a single you for every person on earth. Every being on this blue planet of ours would have their own personal you, exactly how you are now. 

What would they think of you? Not everyone would like you, not that you’re unlikeable but statistically we can’t hit it off with every single person on earth. You would have the potential though to be friends with everyone, no matter how young or old, everyone on earth would know you.

Would that make you famous, if every single person knew you? It’s not just like knowing a celebrity, they would all have a personal relationship with you. Maybe they would be so tired of seeing you everywhere that they wouldn’t even care, they would come to resent you. 

But then, how would they know which of you is the original you? I guess they would just find the you that isn’t with another person and they would know you must be the original you because you don’t belong to anyone else on the planet, you aren’t attached to anyone.

It would be weird for you, as all the you’s would not share one mind. They are all out their living their own lives, but all with the base life of the life you have already lived. You would just be running into you all the time. It would be impossible to avoid yourself. Everyday, everywhere you went, it’s just, you.

Would the versions of you become friends with each other, themselves? Would they want to not be around themselves too because it is all them, you? Would they all act the same or different? They are all you after all so you would think they would act the same, but maybe sharing different life experiences with the different people they were assigned to would drastically change their personality.

And if there is always a you for every person on earth, every time a baby is born a new you would pop up right there. The parents wouldn’t even question it as they are so used to having their own you’s around all the time, what is another you to add to the bunch.

But then what would happen for the you’s given to people who die? Would the you’s die with them, or just be left without a person, making the way to find the original you obsolete. No if the you’s person dies the you must die with them as there can only be one you for every person on earth. If they you’s did not die with their person, the earth would become very overcrowded very quickly, more than it already has with a now doubled population.

What a world it would be if it were filled with you. Would you, the original you enjoy it?

  Musical Footsteps One day as he walked, a musical note began to play. With each step a new note, always complimenting the one before. There was no piano, just his stride, creating a beautiful melody for all to hear. He didn’t know why the music played, but he enjoyed it nonetheless.   The Girl in the Horse Painting “Oh man have you seen that one painting, the one with the horse, on that blue background.” “Yeah! Oh my gosh that painting is so good. I’m actually looking to get a print of it to hang in my house.” “That would look so good in your living room, or anywhere really.” “I know, it’s such a good painting it could go anywhere really and make the room better!” “Have you ever noticed the girl in the background? 4/24/22 Carried by the Breeze

  Carried by the Breeze She stood in the breeze, arms stretched out wide. “Take me away,” she said, and the wind complied with her request. It picked her up off the earth and carried her through the sky and clouds.  Although a wondrous view passed by below her, she just closed her eyes and floated with the wind. The sight could be replicated but this feeling would never be again. She did nothing but float, feeling the breeze run through her hair, trying to capture it in her hands. Hours went by and she enjoyed every moment, but the chill of the sky began to wear into her, she was ready to go down. The wind however had different plans, it was not ready to let her go. Her assumption of being a friend to the wind changed as she realized she was prisoner to it. Struggling against air, she tried to point herself downwards and break free.
