Cascada (Part 3)
After walking for miles Cascada finds herself on the outskirts of a large city, the tall buildings visible in the sky, hidden only by a faint layer of clouds. As she starts walking into the jungle of buildings, she hears loud sirens and turns to see flashing lights coming up behind her. Once again a cop car quickly stops by her and two cops get out, guns immediately raised as they approach her.
‘Oh not again,’ Cascada thinks to herself. She puts on the best smile she can muster and turns around with her hands raised halfway in front of her, “Look, I don’t want to hurt anyone, just leave me alone and everything will be fine.”
“Oh yeah, tell that to our two dead friends.”
‘Dead? I didn’t realize I killed them. Such fragile beings.’ “I’m sorry about your friends, I didn’t mean to kill them, I was just protecting myself.”
“Well it sure looks a whole lot like murder to us. At least that's what that beat up old man told us.”
Cascada growls in anger, ‘I really hate that old man,’
“Now, keep your hands up and do what we tell you or else you’re going to be in a world of hurt.”
Cascada discreetly looks around, trying to find a straight path of escape. She spots an alley between two buildings that is not yet blocked by the cops. She sprints, making a run for it.
“HEY,” both the cops yell as they fire at her, but their bullets, like the farmers, bounce off her cape and fall to the ground.
