 Forgotten Memories (Part 1)

“NOOOOO!” he screams, falling to his knees. His face becomes completely blank, no emotion whatsoever, the agony he just experienced completely gone. He looks around, observing his surroundings. He does not know what anything is or what he is meant to do.

Shakily he attempts to stand, going purely off of instinct. No thoughts or words fly through his head, no motive or goal in mind, he simply feels the need to move. Struggling at first, he finds his balance and is able to stand up.

Next, his feet begin to move him forward. He starts slowly, his legs not quite sure what they are doing. After a few steps, he gains confidence and begins to walk more naturally. He reaches a wall in the room he is in. He curiously rubs his hand across it, feeling the small bumps move along his palm.

The next thing to grab his attention in the empty room is the window. He walks towards it and stares outside, he looks up to the source of light and is blinded by the sun. He falls backwards, rapidly blinking his eyes.

Deciding to avoid the window at all costs, he then turns to the door, as it is different from the blank wall. He looks to the handle, noticing the sunlight reflecting off the golden handle. He touches it, it is smooth.

Having seen all that is in the empty room, he returns to his knees on the floor, not knowing what to do next. With no knowledge of the world and lack of planning skills, he sits on the carpeted floor, staring blank faced at the wall.
