Delicious
Two friends stand side by side in an art museum, admiring a very colorful painting hanging on the wall in front of them.
“That just looks delicious.”
“Delicious? That’s an interesting way to describe art. You think that if the painting had a taste, it would be a good one?”
“No like, I could just eat it up with my eyeballs.”
“Oh so, it looks so good that you’d want to stare at it all day, like snacking on your favorite snack?”
“No,” they say in a very serious tone. One of their eyeballs then starts to enlarge and pop out of their head. Still attached by all the muscles, the large eye moves towards the painting. From the middle of the pupil a crack begins to form which then turns into a mouth spanning across the whole eye. The mouth opens and devours the painting on the wall. Once the painting has been fully swallowed, the eye begins to shrink back to its normal size before returning to the eye socket, as if nothing had ever happened.
“What the-”
