Breaking the Cage (Part 5)
The morning sun rises and Hilton is quick out of bed, his tools already packed nicely in a bag in the car. He walks out and finds Morris already sitting in a chair in the main room.
“Are you ready?” Morris asks.
“Are you?” Morris says nothing but the two head out. “We can take my car, so that your plates won’t be recognized, and no one will know you were ever there.” Hilton throws Morris the keys.
Morris starts up the car, “It will be about two hours.”
“Alright.” The car ride is silent for the first hour until Hilton begins to gather some important information. “So what kind of security should I expect when we get there?”
“There is only one elevator up to the cage and surrounding rooms. Usually there is just one man guarding the entrance to the door, he also has the only key up.”
“I may need your help distracting the guard for just long enough for me to knock him out.”
“Well then you’ll need him to open the door before you knock him out, the key is a password that only he will know. I should be able to get him to open it, so you will just have to wait til the door is open, then knock him out.”
“Can do,” Hilton says confidently.
“So who am I supposed to send this message to once you’re in?”
“The government.”
“The government? And what am I supposed to tell them?”
“Tell them that I’ve destroyed their contract with the quad killers, let them know they can come and end the People Cage legally.”
Morris is shocked for a moment by the information but takes it in as it is, “Alright, I will get the message to them.”
“Thank you.” The rest of the ride is silent as both prepare for what is about to come.
